We are very pleased to announce that the next ISPOR (NZ) webinar will be delivered by Prof Nancy Devlin, on the challenges of measuring and valuing QALYs in children, why differences might arise between child and adult QALYs, and the implications for health technology assessment.
Professor Devlin is the President of ISPOR international and Director of the Centre for Health Policy, University of Melbourne, and has previously worked as Director of Research at the Office of Health Economics (OHE) in the UK. She has a PhD in Economics from the University of Otago, and prior to joining OHE in 2009 was Professor and Head of Economics at City University, London.
Nancy is a world-leading expert in the measurement and valuation of patient-reported outcomes, the use of multi-criteria decision analysis in healthcare decision making, and priority-setting in healthcare. In this talk, she will provide a framework for thinking about the measurement and valuation of health-related quality of life in children and discuss recent research addressing these issues.
